As China Railway Construction Corporation continues to grow and expand, internal financial management and accounting have become increasingly complex. While the group's Financial Shared Services Center (FSCC) initially achieved centralized management, business and finance integration remained a challenge, making it difficult to achieve the anticipated flexible and efficient business processing. This case study analyzes the motivation, process, and outcomes of the transformation of China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau's FSCC, and summarizes the successful experience of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) process automation. Through this case study, students can gain insights into the key issues in creating an intelligent FSCC and contemplate how automation technologies enhance the management functions of accounting in enterprise practice.
