Targeting at Dongyi Food Company, this case is supposed to explore how to motivate the employees and promote the sustainable development of the company through compensation reform. Since the production and operation activities of enterprises require different types of employees; additionally, different positions, skills and performances of different employees have different values. Therefore, how to establish a set of fair and reasonable salary standards based on the practical needs of division of labor, which attracts, uses and retains suitable employees as well as motivating employees to work hard is the fundamental task of compensation management. To this end, it is necessary to take the employee classification management as the guide, and implement the principle of distribution according to work through the salary standards, salary items, salary structure, salary relationship, and salary adjustment. This case systematically introduces Dongyi\'s production and management difficulties, staff status, compensation distribution methods and management improvement discussions, showing the relationship between them, moreover, providing both scenario description and analysis ideas for readers to understand the law of enterprise compensation distribution.
