作为银监会首次批准的两家互联网银行之一,浙江网商银行成立之初就确立了“无微不至”的使命,致力于服务小微企业和农村市场金融需求。作为一家没有线下网点的纯粹互联网银行,网商银行以电商平台上的大数据和风险模型为依托解决信息不对称问题,并以远低于传统金融机构的方式为小微企业提供小额贷款服务。但是,在面对旺盛的农村金融需求的同时,网商银行面临的信息不对称和风险控制问题更加严重。如何用适当的商业模式解决上述问题,从而有效地服务于农户和农业生产者的金融需求成为网商银行商业模式创新的焦点。基于以上分析,本案例首先介绍了网商银行在阿里系中萌芽、在蚂蚁系中成长的历程,描述了其金融产品由简单到丰富的发展过程以及商业的运作模式。在此基础上,以其重要的农村金融项目——旺农贷为例,详细阐述其运作过程和风险控制方式,并进一步提出网商银行在农村金融市场成长中可能的机遇和挑战,从而激发学员从决策者的视角进行思考和做出决策。

As one of the two internet banks approved by China Banking Regulatory Commission, MYbank puts forward its mission as “Serve Micro enterprises Wherever in need” at the right beginning, dedicates to provide financial services for small & micro enterprises and customers in rural areas. As a pure internet bank, MYbank has no physical branches, it solves asymmetric information problem and provides micro-loans for small & micro enterprises on much lower cost comparing with that of traditional banking, basing on big data and risk models. But the problems of asymmetric information and risk control are even hard in rural areas, even through the financial needs in rural areas blooms in these years. Therefore, what kind of business model can satisfy farmers’ financial needs effectively is the key for Mybank’s innovation. This case introduces Mybank’s spouting in Alibaba system and growing up in Ant financial group, describes the evolution of its product line from simple to rich. Furthermore, take one important project-Flourishing Farmer’s Loan as an example, illustrates its operational process and risk control mechanism. Further on, this case presents potentials opportunities and challenges for Mybank in rural financial market, in order to promotes students to think deeply in the decision maker’s perspective.
