Abstract:
Company W is a start-up that produces industrial smart equipment. With business growth owing to research and development breakthroughs, the problems of internal company management and operations gradually became more prominent. To resolve these problems, the company founders hired a professional manager named Tan Yi. However, as an “outsider” CEO, Tan was faced with inconsistency between power and influence. To guide the company out of this predicament, Tan worked to earn the trust of his subordinates, reformed the delivery team, successfully gained financing for the company, and improved operational efficiency while extending his influence as a leader.
