In 2006,WeiFang Bank was the first bank of China which put forward the slogan:“Cooperate With Small and Micro Businesses,Build Harmonious Finance”. With five years’ development, small and micro enterprise business has been the most essential business of WeiFang Bank. And the successive innovation products include Agricultural loan product, Start-up loan product, Micro-finance, Cultural finance, Technological finance and so on. In this case, we show the process of WeiFang Bank’s financial product innovation, help students understand the important significance of financial product innovation for city commercial banks. Besides, with this case, we can organize students discussing how to carry on the product innovation, including market positioning, how to design the new product, how to find target customers, and how to control the risks of new financial products.
