Duozhuayu is a business primarily engaged in the buying and selling of second-hand books, aiming to promote the circulation of high-quality and durable goods. In line with the "double carbon" and sustainable concepts, Duozhuayu is actively expanding into categories such as clothing and electronics, and developing a "circular economy". Duozhuayu not only facilitates efficient supply and demand matching for high-quality and durable goods, but also conveys to users the value proposition that "truly good things are worth buying twice". The explosive growth of Duozhuayu in the market is inseparable from the business model it has gradually explored. This case study describes the development process of Duozhuayu, explores how it has developed its business model to help it stand out, accumulate users, support and accelerate the "buy-sell cycle", and maintain business operations and sustainable development, providing a reference for other similar enterprises in terms of business model operation and the development of a circular economy. At the same time, this case study also outlines the difficulties and challenges Duozhuayu currently facing and explores its future development direction.
