In response to such a call, the leading financial technology company Ant Group acquired the famous cross-border payment company WorldFirst to facilitate cross-border e-commerce businesses. After the acquirement of WorldFirst, The Ant Group applied the postmerger integration strategy in firm level strategy, business operation, institution, human resources, company culture, etc., and finally achieve the synergy effect. During the multi-dimensional integration, Ant Group frequently communicate with their customers, cross-border e-commerce enterprises, and updated its service based on the real needs. Finally, the endeavor in the integration and service update enables Ant Group to increase its local responsiveness and improved its services. Such services enabled the cross-border sellers to circumvent the tremendous risks and prosper in the 2020 global pandemic of COVID-19.
