英文摘要:
Very often leaders cannot meet the needs of different employees reasonably, which results in the decline of employees’ working enthusiasm and deterioration of their relationship with the leader. Ultimately, this would affect the overall work efficiency of the organization. How leaders could enact effective behavior and motivate employees then become an urgent problem which should be solved by many organizations. The case describes the story of Shang Cheng, a general manager of marketing department in Y Company, a long-established corporation. The story traces Mr. Shang’s experience of coming across problems for the first time, meeting bottleneck, analyzing and solving problems. By analyzing Mr. Shang’s responses to the falling of two typical employees’ working enthusiasm, students are likely to get a more intuitive understanding of the effectiveness of leadership behavior and the contingent leadership, also use the relevant leadership knowledge to solve business problems.
