The case introduces the strategic exploring initiatives of Lenovo Group from 2001-2008. During this period, Lenovo Group tried to explore proper development path for its own, furthermore, Lenovo Group adjusted its momentous strategies several times, in order to accelerate the development of the company. The company harvested successes, as well as encountered frustrations in this period, that implies much for the management. The case provides the students a real situation, in which they can make the fatal decisions at the strategic milestones for the company as a real decision maker, and helps them to understand the difficult growth process of a company.
