This case studies the practice of smart retail innovation driven by big data and algorithm in the context of digital transformation of retail industry. The case depicts the business process of Convenience Bee from exploring big data drive to integrating technology and business gradually to reconstructing the human and cargo yard with the strategy of "Convenience+", and realizing many fast and economical start-ups. The case focuses on facilitating bees to insist on self-operation, based on the nature of business, self-iterating business process, big data and algorithm-driven smart retail practice, inspiring students to understand how to understand the relationship between retail essence, big data technology and retail innovation through big data and algorithm-driven retail innovation practice.
