Group A is a medium-sized medicine manufacturing enterprise in the center of China. The ERP implementation process of Group A was complex and tortuous. Its first ERP project started in 2009 but terminated halfway despite their efforts on standard model selection and implementation; However Group A did not give up but learned lessons from its first trying. A second ERP implementing project was soon after in progress in 2010 and gained ultimate success. This case described the two tough processes of ERP implementation of Group A, and showed the ideological process of Group A in understanding and acceptance of ERP.
