Abstract:
y. In its start-up period, H Technology adopted the internal expansion strategy and passed the crisis. After 2006, H Technology began to take the road of diversified development. The establishment of joint ventures became one of its important ways of expansion. Now, coinciding with the opportunity to expand to injection molding machine market, H Technology is confronted with a potential acquisition target: Company A in Ningbo. Which kind of expansion strategy should H Technology adopt? Should H Technology buy out A? How should they integrate after M&A? The case mainly illustrates H Technology’s internal expansion, M&A and joint ventures process, puts forward problems that it faces when conducting M&A with Company A, to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these expansion strategies.
